Let’s get this job

Uno degli obiettivi che mi sono posta ,e che per me conta moltissimo, è sicuramente la realizzazione personale a livello professionale. Sono una persona alla continua ricerca di un accrescimento, che punta in alto e cerca sempre nuovi stimoli.
Naturalmente per poter trovare un lavoro adeguato alle nostre aspirazioni non possiamo che affrontare spesso molti colloqui di lavoro e, in questo caso, una delle cose che mette più in crisi noi donne è la fatidica domanda:
Cosa mi metto per un colloquio di lavoro?
Partiamo dal presupposto che non tutti i colloqui sono dello stesso branch e quindi dello stesso settore, proprio per questo in base al contesto lavorativo, dovrete fare attenzione all’accostamento dei colori.
La prima regola è:
– NO AI JEANS. Mai e poi mai indossare jeans ad un colloquio di lavoro, è decisamente troppo informale.
– SI ai colori pastello, se il vostro lavoro richiede professionalità e creatività.
– NO al Color block o ai colori troppo forti per l’iride umana. Cosa molto importante è evitare il BLU acceso, poiché è scientificamente provato che il nostro occhio si stanca subito guardando questo colore.
Io per un recente colloquio ho scelto di puntare su uno stile bon ton dai colori pastello. Ho indossato:
I gambaletti Copenaghen SiSi con fantasie a rombo in grado di dare al look uno stile elegante ma allo stesso originale e glamour,  una gonna rosa antico, una canotta semplice ed un cardigan, abbinato a Decoltè Peep Toe con dettagli Frou Frou e trench dal taglio anni’50, il tutto arricchito dalla cintura sottile.

Personally, achieving professional fulfillment is one of the most important goals in my life. I am continuously trying to improve myself; I’m ambitious, always in search of newer inspiration.
If you are willing to find a job that fulfills your aspirations, you obviously will have to go through lots of interviews. And on such occasions, one of the things that scares us girls the most is the question:
What am I going to wear?
Businesses are not all the same, so depending on the branch your interview is for, you need to pay attention when you’re matching colors.
Rule number one is:
– NO JEANS. Never, ever wear jeans on a job interview, that’s definitely too casual.
– DO WEAR pastel colors, when your job requires creativity in addiction to being professional.
– DO NOT Colorblock or wear colors that may hurt one’s eye! Try to avoid vivid BLUE, as it has been proved that our eyes get tired staring at it. That’s an important thing to keep in mind.
On a recent job interview I decided to rely on a bon-ton style made of pastel colors. 
Here’s what I was wearing:
Thanks to the knee-high Copenaghen SiSi socks with rhombus pattern not only you will be elegant, but at the same time you will be looking glamorous and unique. Then I put on an antique pink skirt, a cardigan over a simple vest and matched all that with peep toe décolleté shoes with frivolous details and a trench with a cut from the 50s. I added up a thin belt and I was ready to smack it.

  2. l’outfit è molto carino nel suo insieme, ma in tutta onestà non mi presenterei mai ad un colloquio di lavoro in minigonna e parigine: mi sembra una mise davvero troppo provocante e poco formale.

  3. mha..vestirsi per un colloquio così?? con una maglietta che lascia intravedere l’intimo??..potevi mettere una canotta sotto.. tacchi troppo alti e gambaletti troppo vistosi!

  8. Tutto bello, solo le scarpe stonano. Io avrei abbinato un paio di scarpe parigine leggermente vintage e che richiamassero il colore della cintura o del giacchettino.
    Non credo sia adatto questo outfit ad un colloquio. Forse sarebbe adatto solo a colloqui in ambito di moda e immagine.

  21. I guess it does depend on what the job your are applying for is. However, here you are breaking a few of my personal rules. First off those are open toed and most likely SS shoe and def should not be worn with heavy socks. Also I can see your bra, not appropriate for any work interview. It’s still cold if you want to wear a mini skirt need to wear tights not these high socks and not in such a fantasy color. It makes you (the brand) loose credibility. And if you cant sell yourself then how can your interview even consider you?

      first of all, Yes of course it depends on what kind of job you are having an interview for, if you are going for a creative application a shirt could be just too foregone.
      your rules are too strict for me, it’s 2013, let’s have some new idea, if we can wear sandals and socks, why not knee and peep toe, anyway we are just missing one week untill the spring beginning.
      I don’t think that the bra is so apparent and plain, I just prefer black lace bra, which is much better, in my opinion , than a nude bra, as I told you we are 2013, let’s use some contrast.
      at the end, why should I wear something predictable and tedious in an interview where I have to show my creativity?

      Ad ogni modo faccio training velocemente visto che vivo a Londra già da un mese!

Per un colloquio non so se azzarderei, personalmente, ma io sono una scialba anonima dunque non faccio testo 🙂 Le parigine sono bellissime e il look, col cappottino a completarlo, mi piace moltissimo. Ecco, senza togliere il cappottino mi piace molto e lo trovo idoneo per un colloquio. Però ovvio è un parere, giustamente qui devi far vedere il tuo stile e il tuo stile non è opinabile.

  33. I love your look, but maybe I would go for something a little more conservative for a work interview. What about smoking? I happen to smoke A LOT and have tried to disguise this as much as I could in all of the interviews I have attended (trying not to smell like I have smoked).
